1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Truly ("Truly", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and participation in Truly video circles and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By signing in with your email, reserving a seat, or joining a Truly Circle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement

Truly is designed exclusively for adults seeking thoughtful social interaction.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create a profile, reserve a seat, or participate in any Truly Circle.
• By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. The Circle Service & Capacity

Truly provides structured 60-minute hosted video calls ("Circles") organized around conversation themes and small cohorts.

• Room Occupancy Invariant: Each Circle is strictly limited to a maximum of 8 paying participants and 1 non-paying human host, resulting in a maximum live room occupancy of 9 people.
• Punctuality: Participants are expected to join the live room on time. Because Circles follow a structured conversational arc, late admissions disrupt the group flow and may be denied entry by the host without refund.
• Camera-On Standard: Truly is an intimate, human-first space. All participants are required to maintain active video throughout the call.

4. Pricing & Bookings

We believe in honest, upfront pricing with zero hidden fees or automatic recurring subscription charges.

• Fee: The fee to reserve a participant seat in a Circle is exactly ₹199 per participant (19,900 paise).
• Seat Reservation: A seat is confirmed only upon successful completion of the booking process.
• Cancellation: You may cancel a reservation up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled circle start time via your dashboard to release your seat back to the community. Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy for detailed terms.

5. Participant Conduct & Prohibited Acts

To ensure psychological safety and mutual respect, all participants agree to adhere strictly to our Community Guidelines. You may NOT:

• Record, photograph, screenshot, or distribute audio, video, or participant identities from any Circle.
• Engage in harassment, sexual misconduct, vulgarity, intimidation, bullying, or hate speech.
• Impersonate any person or provide fraudulent identity information.
• Solicit commercial sales, multi-level marketing, or cryptocurrency schemes during calls.
• Pressure any participant to share private contact details outside Truly's mutual match mechanism.

Host Authority: The room host reserves the right to mute or immediately eject any participant who violates these conduct rules.

6. Post-Call Double-Blind Contact Exchange

Following a Circle, Truly provides an optional double-blind connection exchange interface:

• Any interest you express in staying in touch remains confidential and is never shared unless both parties indicate mutual interest.
• If mutual interest exists, only your provided Instagram handle is revealed. Truly never discloses your phone number or email address to other participants.
• Truly is not responsible for any interactions, communications, or meetings that occur outside the Platform.

7. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Truly platform—including but not limited to source code, user interface designs, conversational frameworks, brand assets, logos, and editorial content—remain the exclusive proprietary intellectual property of Truly.

Unauthorized copying, distribution, decompilation, modification, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited under our proprietary software license.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we provide verified human hosts and technical safeguards, Truly cannot guarantee specific conversational chemistry or interpersonal outcomes between independent participants.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Truly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from platform use or interactions with other participants.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
